I'm looking to start saving for (or maybe i'll luck out for xmas) a new digital camera. Mines fine but cameras buily 4 years ago simply were'nt as advanced as all those out there now. While i'd really like to upgrade quality wise being a college student price and size are pretty important. I want something smaller and something under 600$. However I'll miss my 8x optical zoom of my current camera i'm willing to cut down to a 4-6x zoom for the sake of  the camera's size. hah my camera was "top notch" in it's day with a whoping 3.0 mp....I don't think  you can even buy that few these days so anythign will do. I want something with good image
